Our Story

In 2021, our friends and relatives, Casey and Montana Massey, started a small mobile coffee shop named “Montana Coffee Company” in hopes of building a side-hustle style source of income while finishing nursing school. Soon, Montana Coffee Co. had become a community favorite with a solid, local following.

Unfortunately, after finishing her nursing degree, Casey and Montana decided their side hustle must come to an end in late 2022.

For years, Kaleob and Megan, having a shared passion for coffee and all its wonders, had loved the idea of owning their own coffee company but knew they could never handle it on their own.

After meeting Cory, (coincidentally now married to Courtney, Megan’s twin sister) Megan casually suggested to him, “You would be really good at running a coffee shop!” Struck by the sporadic, yet accurate, nature of the comment, the group soon began exploring the idea of what a group coffee venture might look like. Then, one night over dinner, after already gaining Montana and Casey’s blessing, Montana Coffee Company as the world now knows it was born – Kaleob and Megan, partnered with Cory and Courtney, tracked down the then (2nd) owners of the previous Montana trailer, purchased the trailer and its equipment, and successfully rebranded and reopened it as “Montana Coffee Company.”
